Hello Out There

Postby verkagj » Wed Dec 30, 2009 7:45 am

I know it is a busy time of year but where is every one? I miss you guys. Been lurking in the background...just too lazy to log in most days. We're back in the states packing our stuff for the move. Can't wait to get back to our little corner of Belize. Paperwork on our 15 acres should be ready soon. :exc:

See ya all soon! :chil:

Hello to you too! Busy it is. I almost thought you were spam, it has been awhile since you logged in.

Though I'm not packing for Belize, I am packing some boxes that will be heading to Belize.........via a stop off in Texas first.

Is there anyway I can disguise myself as a book, and make my way to Belize instead????

Busy is good.
I wish we could just "beam me to Belize,Scotty!" Deciding what goes in the truck is so difficult especially not knowing what the duty will be on items. But we can't replace the well-made older tools that will be needed when one is living away from town.
I was excited yesterday (I guess it doesn't take much :hspin: , after researching, to find that worms are available to buy. I plan on getting some worm beds set up right away to produce nutients for the garden and will use excess worms to feed chickens. The property we bought is was used probably 7-8 years ago for cane and nothing since then.
I look forward to meeting lots of forum posters when we finally get there for good.

Hapy New Year to All! :hullo:

Since you can't be beamed, and I can't be a "flat Stanley", have a great trip none the less.

You will see and learn alot.

If possible.......please, log on again :poke: and share the pearls you learned along the way.
Don't forget........ a funny story on how something goofed up is always a good chuckle, for some of us who might be in need of "some learnin"........ or a smile.

Yup. my worm farm is going great at the moment and I get gallons of fertiliser off it. It seems also that if you spray a dilute solution of the liquid on your veggies, that the critters stay off them as well.
