My brother lives in Maui, Hawaii. I spoke to him yesturday. At the time, he was out at sea, with a whole bunch of other boats, and whales. All seemed to go well.
Except.......as they all brought the boats in, a line got caught in the propeller. My brother went down to untangle. The rope had seaweed on it. He lost his grip, and his arm banged into the propeller. Seems the titanium plate in is arm is now protruding out. Last I heard he was still sitting in ER. Oh, and he had VERY slurred speech from the "shot" he got.
Otherwise, no other casualties reported.
